ABOUT NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK

The Government of India is celebrating a year - long program Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav to pay homage and showcase to India’s achievements in 75 years of Independence. In this sequence, Ministry of Culture along with Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology has planned to organize National Science Week on the occasion of the National Science Day (on 28 February, 2022).

Under the program, 75 nodal centres have been selected all over the country for spreading the awareness towards Science and provoking the creative minds to come up with innovative ideas. In Jodhpur city, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur in collaboration with IIT Jodhpur and Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur is going to organize the National Science Week on the theme of "Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate" from 22nd to 28th February, 2022 at M.B.M. Engineering College Campus, Ratanda, Jodhpur.

ABOUT THEME - "VIGYAN SARVATRA PUJYATE"

Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate displays our scientific legacy and technological capabilities that have helped find solutions to problems in defence, space, health, agriculture, astronomy, and others over the 75 years of our Independence.

Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate (Science is revered everywhere) theme is designed to engage the masses with the purpose of expanding the wide, fathomless mind of young students and unlocking their hidden potentials.
